Equipment:

Food processor, can opener, lemon juicer, measuring spoons/cups, colander, cutting board, knife, microwave safe bowl, microwave, oven mitts

Ingredients

1 cup frozen shelled edamame

1 cup canned garbanzo beans

¼ cup lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)

¼ cup olive oil

3 Tablespoons tahini (omit if SESEAME allergy and add extra olive oil)

1 clove garlic

1 teaspoon sea salt

½ cup of water (if needed to smooth out mixture)

*Optional Mix Ins (1-2 teaspoons siracha, ¼ cup cilantro)

Instructions

– Add 1 cup frozen shelled edamame to a microwave safe bowl and cook for 3 minutes, remove when finished and set aside.

– Open can of garbanzo beans and add to colander and rinse with cold water, let drain.

-Roll lemon on countertop to release fibers, cut in quarters and juice until you reach ¼ cup.

-Cut end of garlic, remove skin and add to food processor along with the tahini, lemon juice, salt and olive oil.  Turn food processor on and pulse.
